What is Love in its Purest Form?

Love is the biggest word in the dictionary of mankind. Love just does not mean the natural bonding between a man and a woman. We have been using the word “love” very casually. But have we ever thought what love is in its purest form?

What does love mean to you?

Pure love cannot be given, it can be shared by two people of equal pure intensity, and when love is all about giving, comforting, sympathy, sense of security, that person is into pure love and does not expect anything return. Love is not expectations. Pure love means to want nothing. This love is unconditional. So, just let yourself free and allow yourself to explore all your feeling that surrounds around love.

Love in it’s purest form doesn’t demand anything. It is natural, gracious, and freeing. In pure love, you are detached, you are just not affected by any outcome, you do not hold onto anything and you let go and accept the person and situation as it is.

People mostly associate love with pleasure. And this pleasure can be from romance, recognition, appreciation, lust, seeing anything that looks beautiful to eyes, pleasure from any kind of satisfaction. But that’s not love; you are just getting pleasure seeing those things.

These kinds of pleasures are only temporary. We are all familiar with love turning to hate in many cases. With pleasure replaced by suffering when the outcome is no longer that we want to see.

So, now you might be thinking about what happened to love that we had, was it temporary? So, the answer would these kinds of pleasure is not love. The love in it’s purest form in the love that is unconditional.

What is unconditional love?

Unconditional love is not based on our desires for self-fulfillment, it is also not based on desires or pleasures. Unconditional love desires less life, it is the love of pure and unconditional acceptance.

Unconditional loves means loving someone or accepting someone as they are regardless of the past or may be in the future. It means nit imposing any kind of values on them and not expecting love or anything in return.

Unconditional love is the love without the emotions of jealousy, anger, possessiveness, or lust. It is love without any ownership, we don’t own anything in this kind of love. So, how often have we experienced this kind of love? A pure love? I don’t think many of us had experienced this unconditional love.
